Solve whatsapp " Database folder" taking space

All of a sudden, that warning pops up... Low Storage!!! 
How, why, who does that!!?!??
One culprit has been identified to this problem, which is a folder named Database, in the Whatsapp app directory. It's a whatsapp system folder alright, but does not seem to be any problematic when removed, yet, always reappears even when you delete it. But it surely consumes storage space.
So, here's how to get rid of it... for GOOD 

1. First, create a file (any file at all) on your pc, or on your phone using a file manager such as ES explorer.
2. Rename the file to ".Databases" including the 'dot'. Make sure you clear the extension too (.exe, .txt, .waleva).
3. Go to the Whatsapp directory on your phone and delete the 'Databases' folder.
4. Then lastly, you copy or move the file you created, to that directory.

This prevents the Database folder from reappearing after deleting it.
Trust me, it'll save you a lot of space....and files...and even time.
